The Kawasaki Z750 will be replaced by the all-new Z800, Kawasaki has revealed. The new bike will use an 806cc inline four cylinder engine and has been heavily restyled to bring it more inline with the aggresive look of the Z1000.
The Kawasaki Z800 is powered by a 806cc liquid-cooled Inline-Four engine. Kawasaki claims a maximum power output of 111 hp at 10,200 rpm and 61 ft-lb. at 8000 rpm. The engine is framed by a tubular backbone chassis and subframe.New four-piston calipers grip the Z800′s two 310mm front brake discs while a single-piston caliper stops the single 250mm rear disc. ABS is available as an optional add-on.
Other features include an LED taillight and a triple split LCD screen with digital tachomoter, fuel gauge, range indicator and economical riding indicator. The fuel tank holds 4.5 gallons while Kawasaki claims the Z800 has a curb weight of 505 pounds. The 2013 Kawasaki Z800 will be produced in Candy Flat Brazed Green and Metallic Spark Black, Pearl Stardust White and Metallic Spark Black or Flat Ebony and Metallic Spark Black.
